Look Local - Coventry Double Glazing

If you are considering home improvements such as loft conversions or fitting new upvc windows then there's always the best option of staying local. Anything to do with your home affects your way of live and living conditions in your home while the work is being done. There's nothing worse, we think, than coming home from a days work to find your home a building site and left.

We all know that when fitting double glazed windows you need to be quick with removing the old window and installing the new ones almost straight away. Houses without windows are not only a securing problem, but will make for a cold chilly evening.

Looking local can often deliver a friendly service and the tradesperson will probably have a reputation by word of mouth. You'll be able to get your double glazing installed, knowing you've employed a Coventry double glazing company. The reputation of a local business can win or lose customers, so the company will want to make sure they do a grand job. The other benefit being, you'll more than likely know the office or business premises and be able to certify for yourself that the business is real and exists and they are not likely to mess you around.

So there are so many benefits to going local when you need any home improvements.

Look Through the Coventry Windows This Halloween

With Halloween just around the corner we thought we'd look into all things spooky and ghostly. Surprisingly, Coventry is host to many a ghostly sighting and haunting from HGV lorries disappearing past you to old planes of World War and phantom laughing in a public house basement. That's one pub we would be quick to leave after lights out at closing time.

Why not take a stroll through the streets of Coventry and look through some of the Coventry windows and you may be in for a surprise if you visit St Marys Guildhall in Coventry. A resident Monk ghost that likes to appear in the photos may just make an appearance for you.

There are several ghost hunts and ghost walks organised throughout the year, but Halloween tends to be the most frightening time of the year. There are walks that will leave you wanting to hide or run away. If you take a walk through Whitmore Park beware of a black beast that might appear.

If the thought of being scared out of your skin, whilst in the middle of a park, in the middle of the night on the most spooky night of the year does not appeal to you, you can always stay in and hide in the warmth of your home and enjoy the Witching Hour behind your double glazed windows.
